I missed being a neighbor
I wanted to find out if I could reclaim it.
Porch Commons is an ongoing neighborhood gathering project based on my front porch in Southeast Portland, directly across from the #71 bus stop near Mt. Tabor. Coffee in the mornings. Soup in the evenings. I Spy boards, vinyl listening sessions, neighborhood mapping, drawing maps layered with memory + geography . A residency structure where anyone on the block can borrow the porch for their own idea or we figure one out together.
