- What happens when you become part of the very system you're questioning?
Playing the role of tour guide within Simeen Anjum's Public Agency of Travel Planning for the Overwhelmed, I found myself navigating the same disorientation I was meant to narrate.
- Script in hand, gesturing toward a map that changed with every question, discovering in real time how bureaucracy lives in the body, in the pause, in the performance of helpfulness.
The more I guided visitors through the fictional visa process, the more I wondered what it means to offer direction inside a system that isn't built to be understood.
